The journey enriches, teaches, is the master of life.
The bicycle is a faithful friend who can take you wherever you want.
Traveling by bicycle is a strong emotion:
at first the difficulties and fatigue discourage, disappoint, disturb …
but then, those with an indomitable spirit cannot be defeated by static and routine, because the only chance they have of actually living is to follow the path indicated by emotions.
(Gillian Klempner Willman)
The same emotions and the same indomitable spirit that since the 70s, when tourism on two wheels was practically non-existent, pushed my father to make me discover the wonders of Italy with a simple bicycle and a sleeping bag. Memories that remain forever.
Traveling slowly, enjoying the landscape, feeling its scents allows you to immerse yourself in a dimension where space and time acquire a new value.
Sensations that last year led me to travel along the Via Francigena and to make a change in my life: I chose the Val d’Orcia and Radicofani as my new home, leaving the frenzy of city life behind me.
